Here is another roundup of several complaints:

I have the iPhone 3G S thru AT&T on the 3.1 update so far…

* MAC MUST CHANGE:

- option to CUSTOMIZE iPhone…
ringtones, text tones, colors, fonts, icons & themes! Either an Ap, or an APPROVED 3rd party program… this is the *WORST THING ABOUT iPHONE!!!*

- an actual QWERTY KEYBOARD!
I always HAFTA WATCH WHAT I TYPE on my iPhone, where as Blackberry had BOTH touch screen AND QWERTY keyboards. My Curve keyboard rocked, cause I could find keys on it and type WAY faster, instead of watchin all my button pressing on a smooth touch screen.

- an OPTION to SHUT OFF the SCREEN SWAP from landscape to portrait!!!
…such a pain in the @$$ where you have your phone SLIGHTLY tilted the screen is ALWAYS turning back & forth from the 2… UGH!!! - just straight out ANNOYING!!! -

- A variety of ALREADY INSTALLED THEME OPTIONS (like Blackberry has!) to choose from for those who are uncomfortable with ‘jailbreaking’ their iPhone! Along with this, maybe some “ICON PACKS”, so were not stuck with the same boring @$$ icons all the time!!!

These would be HUGE IMPROVEMENTS for starters…

Still no Flash Player on the iPhone

A frustrated reader that there is no flash player on the iPhone:

Apple doesn’t allow Adobe flash player. That often limits performance and use on many websites. Even though I love my iPhone, if Adobe Flash Player continues to not be permitted then I’m switching to Blackberry at the first opportunity in order to get it .

I do not own an iPhone and I probably never will. The main problem I have with the phone is that the Apple corporation has taught an entire generation that it is acceptable to say “app” when they mean “application.” It’s not acceptable, it’s stupid and sounds bad. I can see how they came up with the name - Apple’s applications. Clever but still a poor choice. And now every idiot is saying it and I have to correct them to “F*ck ‘app’.”

I recently purchased an iphone for both of my sons. Had i read all the blogs about the easily broken screens i would never have purchased them. My son dropped his phone off his lap and the screen cracked instantly. I am very disgusted with the workmanship of these phones.

I’ve had the new iPhone for about 3 months now. I have to say if I had known the battery life would be this bad I would not have even considered buying this phone. If I play games, check email, go online, or use apps the battery will go from full to dead within less than an hour. What is up with that?? isn’t the point of creating a device like this to make it convenient for us to do multiple technological activities in our daily lives??!! how the hell can I do that with one hour of battery life…ugh!! Unless my iPhone is really defective apple needs to do something about this.

My boyfriend got the i phone and has nothing but problems it locks up so the person he calls can hear him but he hears nada, still in november he cant send or receive photo messages the phone shuts down by it self and we get no help from at& t on the issues very frustrating they should replace these crappy phones with a model that works properly and definiately at NO CHARGE $200.00 AND THE THINGS CRAP THEN YOU HAVE THE EXTRA CHARGES PER MONTH AND THE INTERNET FEE CAUSE ITS MANDATORYSHAME ON AT&T FOR TREATING CUSTOMERS THIS WAY

The iphone coverage in the DFW metroplex is terrible. I hear nothing but users that are frustrated with no response from AT&T. THis will be just a matter of time when people will leave. If you c’ant use a cellphone as a phone, what good is it?

Clocks on the iPhone are messed up

On my clock site all the times are wrong for London, NY etc….tried syncing with ITunes but no go…also my phone time wasn’t automaticlly adjust to GMT when the clocks went back on 25th Oct…did it manually

‘m working on getting my Fifth phone, between heating up and loosing battery power. On this last phone nobody could hear me talk and there is something wrong internally. So now there giving me a brand new phone WooHOO (BIG DEAL!!) after I have to drive to the iphone store two times almost a hour away to swap phones. OH yea they told in the the store I was getting a brand new phone. I just would like Apple Executives to know that i’m upset and when people in the Fire Department ask me” how do I like the phone” I don’t have anything good to say at all about Apple or my Iphone.

Three weeks and the Wi-Fi stops working

bought my son an iphone. had it 3 weeks and the wifi doesn’t work. Drove over an hour to the nearest apple store (because they don’t answer the phones) and they couldn’t take us that day. So I had to make an appointment w/ some genius, drive an hour back home to repeat the cycle. I’d like to meet the genius that thinks this is good customer service. I’m so pissed off that I’m considering a BBB complaint.
