How Santiago was treated by the Apple iPhone customer service

Santiago submits this complaint on how we was treated by Apple’s customer service after the bachlights on his iPhone went dead:

So my iPhone’s screen backlight goes out 5 days after my warranty expired. I call customer service, and they tell me to take it to a apple store, and they can make exceptions since it was only 5 days. I go to the store and the Mac guy checks it, and finds no water damage, or anything else wrong with it , but cannot explain why the screen went out. He tells me I am out of luck and they will not replace it for me, but says to wait a few days and buy the new iPhone……. I don’t want a new iPhone i want a replacement it’s been 5 days for gods sake. I am out over $1,000 for 5 days. iPhone was $500 i have a Bose sound dock $400 countless accesories, and what about all the money i spent on iTunes? they told sorry! never buying apple product again!
